What kind of flooring materials do you use?For a boats interior we use materials that are similar to what you would use in your home, which are resistant to expansion and contraction from the change in temperature and humidity. We offer 2 types of flooring which give your yacht a luxurious and modern look; Solid core vinyl plank the most popular option is much more durable and completely waterproof. Unlike regular vinyl plank flooring, these have a solid PVC plastic core that ensure the heat does not deform it over time. Since it is made of plastic, it is 100% waterproof and humidity proof so it will say evenly level with no bumps for years. This from comes in many different colours and thickness between ¼ inch and ½ inch. Engineered wood is a great option as it is made with real wood so its finish feels great on your feet. Since engineered wood flooring is made up of layers of wood with the grains all going in different directions, it is resistant to expansion and contraction unlike solid wood flooring. This floor comes in many different colours and thickness between ½ inch and ¾ inch.

How do these materials hold up in a marine environment? As both of these materials are solid in fabrication and very resistant to changing due to changes in temperature and humidity. To ensure they will look great for years to come, we provide a 1 year guarantee of any changes and will repair or replace any issues free of charge.

How much does it cost?Since each boat is different, with different layouts, hatches, steps and curved walls, we will need to inspect the boat and provide a detailed quote. Generally, a 40 to 45 foot boat will cost anywhere between $4,500 and $7,500, including removal of old flooring, supplying new flooring and necessary trim work and installation.

How long does it take?We pride ourselves on our craftmanship andwill sometimes recraft the same piece multiple times to ensure the final product is a better than factory finish. As this meticulous craftmanship takes time, depending on the size and complexity of the boats interior, it can take 60 to 80 hours to complete an installation. To accommodate owner and allow them to continue to use their boats during this process, we will only remove section or rooms of the boat and install the new flooring in that area before we move on to the next area. This means you can still use the boat while we are working on it.

What is the warranty? To ensure they will look great for years to come, we provide a 1 year guarantee of any changes and will repair or replace any issues free of charge.
